Hope is Alive
Adopt-A-House: Small groups & Sunday school classes can sign up to "adopt-a-house" at hopeisalive.net/adopt. This is the biggest need for Hope is Alive right now. Families, individuals, or a group commits to provide one or more supply item (toilet paper, household/cleaning supplies, etc.). When the items are dropped off it gives the opportunity to pray with the residents on a monthly basis.
Sunday Night Speakers & Gatherings: The resident's lives are positively impacted on a weekly basis through men & women who come and speak life over each of them at the Sunday night meetings. This could be a Bible study, financial literacy course, cooking class, resume building or really whatever approved topic God is putting on your heart to share.
On the horizon: As they are able to have larger sized gatherings at the house they would like to begin having groups over for nights of fellowship and then facilitate mentoring opportunities. Watch for updates on this volunteer opportunity as additional information becomes available!
