January 10-11 | Corn, OK | Junior High | Register by Dec. 19

A Junior High Youth Conference is a day-long event of worship, games, challenging lessons, and a service project.  Junior High Youth Conference is our denomination's annual conference for junior high students.  At this weekend conference, students will recharge their batteries by experiencing encouraging worship and challenging lesson.  They will have a chance to reconnect with fellow believers, and they will have the opportunity to recommit to living out their Christian faith in an ever-changing world.  

Who: Junior high students (6-8 grade)
When: Friday, January 10 - Saturday, January 11
(Meet at First MB at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 and return around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11)
Where: Corn, OK 
Cost: $110 per person by December 19 (early bird price) and $125 after that (and no t-shirt)
(includes a t-shirt, housing, food, travel, and everything else but snacks)  Pay by check/cash or fundraising account.

Sleeping: We plan on staying in a local hotel the night before because the conference itself is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and it's a 3-hour drive.  We don't want to drive through the night or make junior highers wake up at 4:00 a.m. and be tired during the conference.  There will be an adult in each room with 3 students in the hotel.  This is something we have done in years past and all precautions will be taken.

Why is there a price difference from what the conference registration page says?
Besides the registration cost, we have travel cost (we prioritize safe travel so we rent buses which costs more), we are also providing 3 extra meals, and renting hotel rooms cost extra that the conference does not provide.  

 

FOR FIRST TIME PARENTS: 

If you have signed up using the online registration process for a previous Youth Commission summer camp or youth conference, you will sign in using your username and password. Please update any information using the “Manage People and Household Information” and register each sr. high student and adult volunteer in your household by returning “Home” and clicking the appropriate red “Start application” box.
*READ the instructions carefully on each page and follow the prompts to complete the registration. Please complete the application by clicking SUBMIT.
 
Otherwise, create a new user-name & password. Your username and password will be used to update your information and register for future events so hang onto it. First set up your household by clicking “Manage people and household information”. Follow the prompts to enter the names of all people in your household. This info will be saved in your account & will not need re-entered every year.
 
Click “Return Home” and register each sr. high student and adult volunteer in your household by clicking the appropriate red “Start application” box. *READ the instructions carefully on each page and follow the prompts. Please complete the application by clicking SUBMIT.
 
What to Bring/Wear:  
  • Bible, pen
  • Tennis shoes
  • Toiletries
  • Coat/jacket
  • 1 pair of clothes 
  • Friends (if they register by the deadline too)
  • Spending Money (for free time activities or snacks)
